Dorset Business Angels will bring together investors and entrepreneurs on May 11th at the Bournemouth Carlton Hotel, where five investment-ready businesses seeking between £150,000 and £500,000 will present across a range of high-impact sectors.
The event offers investors the opportunity to hear directly from founders tackling challenges from businesses spanning home energy, SME finance, industrial SaaS, fleet management and education. Each company aims to arrive with a clear commercial focus, early traction and defined growth plans.
“We’re really excited about this line-up. It’s a great mix of businesses tackling meaningful, real-world challenges across very different sectors. These sessions are always about more than just the pitches, they’re about the conversations, the questions, and the connections that follow,” says Peter Eales, Managing Director at Dorset Business Angels.
Ahead of the pitches, the “Meet the Founders” session will give investors the opportunity to speak informally with the presenting businesses, offering valuable early insight and connection.
